How Can We Help?
If you’re detail-oriented, focused under pressure, and ready for a hands-on career in health care, Pima’s nationally accredited Surgical Technology program can put you right in the middle of the action.
You’ll train in Pima’s brand-new Health Professions Center of Excellence — a cutting-edge facility that includes a mock operating room and advanced simulation labs — giving you the chance to get real-world experience and career prep. In this in-person program, you’ll learn to create a safe and sterile environment in the operating room, becoming an integral part of the surgical team. You’ll prep equipment, assist surgical teams, and help ensure patient safety during every stage of the procedure.
Along the way, you’ll deepen your knowledge of human anatomy, surgical tools, and procedures — and graduate ready to play a vital role in the operating room team.
After completing the Surgical Technology program, you’ll be ready for a career as a surgical technologist, working in settings like:

High-Tech, State-of-the-Art Training
As a Surgical Technology student, you’ll learn in Pima's new $33 million Health Professions Center of Excellence at West Campus. This includes a 1,780-square-foot Operating Room Lab, HyFlex classrooms, and other modern learning amenities, along with expert faculty with real-world surgical experience.
